Threadlock Thursday…
A customer with a cracking noise from their eMTB meant a small investigation:
1. Pedals removed, threads cleaned and lubricated.
2. Crank arms and chainring removed, cleaned.
3. Plastic motor cowlings (and 10 retaining bolts) removed and cleaned.
4. Six motor mounting bolts removed, cleaned, with threadlock added before reassembly to correct torque.
5. Rest of bike reassembled and test ridden.
