Fox Fitness & Health Strength and conditioning coach, co founder of Elevate fitness, Peterborough
Ex professional rugby

After 14yrs of playing professional rugby, Darren Fox, of the Northampton Saints, Cambridge and Bedford Blues, decided to share his extensive knowledge and experience with others. In June 2014, Darren began offering group and one on one functional training sessions. These have since grown in popularity due to the results being achieved by all fitness levels. Then in May 2015, Darren was introduced, by ex All Black and good friend Bruce Reihana, to the benefits of Aloe Vera products and supplements. Knowing he is not as young as he once was, Darren understands the importance of taking good supplements, so was very happy to start noticing the benefits of these products for himself and his family. That is when Darren and his partner Isabel Jones became Forever Business Owners and decided to bring together all of the elements to create Fox Fitness & Health. Along with their expanding team, Darren and Isabel are helping countless others to improve their, fitness, health and wealth across the board with outstanding products, guaranteed training results and business opportunities. Got my 5k time trial done on the Concept2 rower today Elevate Training Club

Happy to get a PB of 17.26 and break the 1.45 pace.
Leaving me sitting 11 so far this year on the concept2 rankings

Bit of a nagging feeling that I could of maybe pushed a bit more. Definitely think sub 17.20 is not to far away

Been a bit quiet on here lately but still been grafting and putting the work in.

Been building up to a 5k test on the rower. The plan is to hit at the end of next week

Here's today's session 6 x 1000m with 1 minutes rest. A bit quicker than last week so feel in a strong place. 🤙

Hit a 2k on the rower and 4k on the bike last week
.trainingclub

The 2k was just over 11 seconds off my PB. Definitely had a bit more in the tank. Hoping to be around the low 6.20s for the English indoor rowing champs in September and then kicking on for the British indoor in December. Watch this space

The bike was 13 seconds off my PB and that was done fresh without out a 2k row before hand.

So all in all, feel in pretty good place with my fitness at the moment. Just need to keep putting the work in 💪

Got on the dance floor yesterday afternoon with at the Games.

Had a great time. Some tough workouts but we both got our heads down and got the work done 💪

Top work to everyone that competed 👊

With a big emphasis on mental health week, you really can't beat a bit of training to raise your mood. Movement is the best medicine out there 🙌

Currently hitting 4 rowing sessions a week, with a combined distance of about 50k

3 of the session all being zone 2. Building the engine and getting the distance through the body

Then 1 hard threshold session a week, which I've been getting done on Thursday.

4 x 5 minutes with 5 minutes active recovery on the bike in between rounds

Always pleased to get it done for the week. And enjoying the process of seeing how far I can push the mind and body. Well I enjoy the feeling when its done 😂

Putting the work in and building the engine

4 x 20 minutes 2 min rest. For a total of, just over 20k

Also loving, having some, sunnier days. Definitely noticed the lack of sun this winter.
Feeling the benefits of a bit of sun on the body already 🌞🤙

I've been upping my rowing sessions over the last month, with a view of getting involved in some indoor rowing comps later in the year.

Currently hitting just over 40k a week.

I hit my quickest session so far on my 8 x 1k
Holding a 1.41 avg on all 8

Then 6 x 10 mins. All zone 2

And another engine builder of 10 x 6 mins
Zone 3

04/03/2026

Hopefully with some warmer and sunny days not to far away. The sun has so many benefits when done sensibly
