Yesterday I had the pleasure of leading a puppy yoga class with , and I wanted to share my experience because I know puppy yoga can receive negative press regarding animal welfare 🧘🏼♀️🐶
As a small business owner myself, I pay close attention to how businesses operate behind the scenes, and I was genuinely impressed by the level of thought, care, and attention to detail that Fur and Flow have put into every aspect of their puppy yoga sessions.
The welfare of the puppies was clearly the top priority throughout. The environment was exceptionally clean and maintained to a veterinary-grade standard, with careful consideration given to the puppies’ comfort, rest periods, socialisation needs, and overall wellbeing.
It was evident that strict protocols were in place to ensure the puppies were never overwhelmed and always had the opportunity to rest and engage on their own terms.
The puppies came from ethical, responsible breeders who are committed to high standards of care. The team were knowledgeable, transparent, and clearly passionate about ensuring positive experiences for both the puppies and participants.
Having seen the operation firsthand, I can confidently say that this is not a business cutting corners or putting profit before animal welfare. Quite the opposite—the amount of planning, investment, and consideration that goes into sourcing, caring for, and safeguarding the puppies is clear to see.
It was a wonderful experience to be part of and the puppies were truly in their element, playful, happy & ultimately well cared for 🤍
