To promote football, specifically targeting participation amongst the young, whilst
competing in the Peterborough and District Football League. In addition, develop younger players via our academy to adopt a footballing lifestyle and to identify
talent early and provide the training and structure to maximise potential. Opportunity for all to be involved in a club that further enables foot

towards having a career in professional football

Club activities:

The vision for this club is to enter an 11 a side team in the Peterborough and District
Football League for the 2014/15 season. Alongside this, the club aims to manage a
further team of under 8’s which will be the first team in our academy system. The club
will recruit under 8’s to begin training, along with U-10’s and U-12’s. These players
would represent the group from which we aim to develop some special talents that will ultimately have the training and skill as well as the necessary ability to become
professional footballers. Community Support:

The club has high hopes for the work it is undertaking and there will be a genuine,
tangible benefit to the whole community. Offering sporting opportunities to children and young adults has many positive benefits such as crime reduction, cohesion, general health and well-being. To run the club for the benefit of the community significant time is being volunteered by the club officers and volunteers. However there is also the need to raise funds to enable the club to fulfil its aims and objectives. The club needs funds for football kit, hire of training facilities and training aids such as balls, bibs, cones etc. Further funds are needed to meet the clubs financial obligations to the council and the league. Therefore we are looking to local businesses to commit some money to back this project. Businesses can either fund the kit costs and in return the kit will be printed with the sponsor’s name on each shirt. Alternatively, sponsors may wish to contribute an amount towards training aids, pitch hire and to cover other expenses. Any amount contributed will be helpful and gratefully received.
