competing in the Peterborough and District Football League. In addition, develop younger players via our academy to adopt a footballing lifestyle and to identify

Club activities:

The vision for this club is to enter an 11 a side team in the Peterborough and District
Football League for the 2014/15 season. Alongside this, the club aims to manage a
further team of under 8’s which will be the first team in our academy system. The club
will recruit under 8’s to begin training, along with U-10’s and U-12’s. These players
would represent the group from which we aim to develop some special talents that will ultimately have the training and skill as well as the necessary ability to become
professional footballers. Community Support:

The club has high hopes for the work it is undertaking and there will be a genuine,
tangible benefit to the whole community. Offering sporting opportunities to children and young adults has many positive benefits such as crime reduction, cohesion, general health and well-being. To run the club for the benefit of the community significant time is being volunteered by the club officers and volunteers. However there is also the need to raise funds to enable the club to fulfil its aims and objectives. The club needs funds for football kit, hire of training facilities and training aids such as balls, bibs, cones etc. Further funds are needed to meet the clubs financial obligations to the council and the league. Therefore we are looking to local businesses to commit some money to back this project. Businesses can either fund the kit costs and in return the kit will be printed with the sponsor’s name on each shirt. Alternatively, sponsors may wish to contribute an amount towards training aids, pitch hire and to cover other expenses. Any amount contributed will be helpful and gratefully received. require any further information.

FC Peterborough is pleased to announce the start of their FREE girls’ football sessions called FC Peterborough Emeralds which will be taking place every Saturday at 10:30AM! 💚

The sessions are open to girls of all abilities aged 5–14 years old, whether they are taking their first steps into football or looking to develop their existing skills. Each session is designed to be fun, welcoming, and engaging, with qualified coaches helping players build confidence, learn new techniques, improve teamwork, and most importantly enjoy the game. 🌟

It’s a fantastic opportunity to make new friends, stay active, and be part of the growing girls’ football community at FC Peterborough.

No previous experience is needed — just bring your enthusiasm and a love for football! ⚽️💚
