Yesterday Aspire hosted one of the new Parkour UK Level 1 Coaching courses. Tutored by Nyesha from Powerhouse Parkour - Epsom and Kieran from Aspire.

With a huge turnout from both clubs, there was great energy and development taking place. A massive well done to everyone!! They'll be moving onto the next portion of the course which is their coaching video submissions.

We are looking forward to hosting more courses and spreading this course to schools in the area too! The course has been developed for Teachers and teaching staff too.

We have classes from 4-16+ for all levels.

We are so happy with the developments over the past 12 months with the implementation of:
🔵Grading System - to work towards higher level classes
🔵WILDCARD Classes - 1 Free themed class/m for all members
🔵Junior Squad - a new younger competitive group

Please note the Saturday 2pm class is being phased out soon. We will be contacting attendees to move classes but this won't happen immediately.

We would like to introduce our new full time coach, felix ! 🎉🎊

Felix brings a decade of Parkour training and seven years of coaching experience to Aspire. Alongside leading classes across various organisations and gyms, he continues to train and compete at the highest level, placing 4th at the British Championships this year. He has spent the last couple of yearS travelling world but now has moved to Peterborough to accept a job here at Aspire!

He is also the founder of the parkour magazine and apparel brand toasted

Felix will mainly be coaching at our satellite clubs in the surrounding areas of Peterborough in the Van. He will also be coaching regularly at the Gym too, and in the meantime of setting up the new sport centre locations, he will be coaching in the gym most days.

Felix begins work today, make sure to say hi! 👋🏼

Our new soft blocks and mats have arrived!

With half the lot for the Van and our new satellite locations and half to replace the well loved blocks at our gym that have been in use since we began 7 years ago 😲💙

We are buzzing to use the new blocks and we have also added some new types of soft equipment which we are extra excited use in coaching and our own training!

The soft equipment and hard equipment has taken a little longer to be ready than anticipated, meaning we have pushed back the start date of some of our new locations to October and onwards. More news coming soon!

Ben Sutton absolutely killed it this weekend coming 2nd place in Men's Skill at the first ever British Parkour Championships !!!! Ending with sudden death against Ed Scott

We've been telling Ben for years that he's a different breed compared to us mear mortals. It's only when competing at Project Underground earlier this year and suprised himself by coming 4th in Men's Skill. Even then, he wasn't sure he'd even qualify this weekend 🤯

He's now earned a qualification in the first World Parkour Championships Parkour Earth at the end of October in Czech Republic!

Big ups to the athletes in the Finals with him Ed Scott who came 1st and Harrison Fernandez | Online Coach | Parkour Athlete coming 3rd. felix in 4th place and Tim Champion in 5th.

Also to our Squad kids and the P.A.P.S for staying all weekend and supporting!! You guys are beyond incredible 💙 Frankie Chester making sure to grab all the clips of Ben throughout the competition.

Coach Aaron Aaron Stretch Lister also managing to make it to the semis for Men's Speed! Speed Demon.

Thank you to everyone from Parkour UK Street Monkeys and all the other volunteers for putting on an absolutely incredible event. Bring on next year!!
