This Sunday! We are pleased to announce that competitors from 5 different clubs will be competing 🎇 Travelling in from far and wide, we will be hosting one of the most inter-club competitions the country has seen!

With 38 competitiors competing, all at the highest levels within their respective clubs. We have some of the most skills youth athletes in the UK attending on Sunday. We can't wait!

The FREE spectator tickets are sold out for ages 10-12 but there's still a few left for 13-15!

Safety first! ⛑️

Just like with last year’s Aspire Astrals competition, the safety of our competitors and spectators is our absolute highest priority. The event is high-energy, and because the competitors are out there pushing their limits, we want to ensure we have the most we can in place if an accident occurs.
That’s why we are proud to have Sym, a qualified emergency responder on-site once again this year.

We also want to send a massive thank you to one of our wonderful student parents, Nick, who generously donated an emergency stretcher to us! 🙏 We always hope for the best, but we prepare for the worst-case scenario to ensure anyone gets the best care possible 💙

Another year, another ' Activate @ Central ' ran by Friends of Central Park - We love this event! Sadly the weather was not on our side this year but it did cheer up on the afternoon!

Thanks for everyone for dropping by and to all the new people that tried Parkour on Saturday with us!

Our Young Leaders and Also Parents of Aspire Squad (P.A.P.S) turned up in numbers to help out too! We are so lucky to have such a supportive community with us 💙🥺 Thank you!

It’s finally happening. Seven years ago, we approached Peterborough City Council to lobby for a dedicated, public Parkour facility. After years of hard work, navigating plenty of ups and downs, it didn't look like it was happening, then. It did!We worked with the council and construction companies and we designed a Parkour park for our local community to enjoy!

This is a massive milestone for our community. There are only about 30 dedicated public parkour spaces in the entire UK, and we are incredibly proud that Peterborough now has one of its own. This is a completely free, public facility built for anyone and everyone to train, progress, and move. We thank Peterborough City Council for believing in this project and funding it's construction.

We were originally hoping to host a big, collaborative grand opening event with free workshops, organised alongside Peterborough City Council to celebrate this milestone together. However, due to the timing of an unforeseen council by-election, local government rules mean the council is legally restricted from organising or backing official public events at the moment. This is very unfortunate! Because of this, we aren't doing an official, scheduled event. But the fences are still coming down, and the park will officially be open to the public!

The park officially opens on Sunday, June 14th, and the Aspire Parkour Academy team will be down there from 12:30 PM onwards!

We would love to see some of you there to try out the new setup, celebrate the culmination of seven years of work, and break in the new space.

Behold the Gym setup for Astrals II 🌌 For our comps, we like to have as fair of a playing field as possible, even on our own student's home turf. That's why our students are revealed this setup design today, the same as everyone else.

Not a single block or bar is in the same place in this design as our current gym setup.

The setup itself won't be built until the evening before the competition on the 21st of June. Meaning no one will have trained on, tried anything or had any additional practice on the course. It will be completely fresh to them on the day. So technically everything is an NBD 😅 (never been done)

Please plan your freestyle lines using this photo and have a really good idea of what you are doing on the day, so your practice time can be spent making it smooth and well executed.

We'd like to take a moment to share our appreciation for the P.A.P.S! (sadly not all included in this photo) Unbeknownst to us, this sub organisation of Squad Parents (and siblings) was setup last year to help wherever they can for our Astrals competition.

It's so lovely for them to FORCEFULLY 😅 take tasks off our hands to help us focus on arranging other aspects of the competition. Always coming up with ideas to make the event better for everyone too!
