Next few videos are going to be from ground techniques. They are hard work techniques especially when you are 55kg female playing with 110kg male πŸ˜‚πŸ˜… Ground techniques are as much important as all the other techniques. Fighting on the ground, from the self defence point of view, is not the best position to fight, however it’s good to know few tricks, when you will end up on the ground and you don’t have any other options, as to fight and run as soon as it possible. πŸ™πŸ’ͺ

Working on those inside defence drills - here we are trying to do it with simultaneous counter attack which is much harder then normal inside defence (just my opinion). Overall, I think Ewelina did here a good job. If you will look closely, you will see how her aggression (controlled aggression) is growing with the time and that’s what I wanted. πŸ’ͺπŸ‘

Fighting is not that easy as everyone think. You need to think about your position towards the attacker, about other hazards around you (other attackers? etc), being able to fight in close and medium range. Being able to understand movement of the body, generating power, as well as being fast and accurate. This is more complex than just throwing your arms and fists towards the attacker πŸ™ƒ That’s why here, we train with Ewelina medium (straight punches) and close range attacks (elbows and hammer fists) as well as moving and positioning yourself in relation to the attacker. πŸ‘πŸ’ͺ Good job and keep it going. ☺️

Another session with Teo, where we were working on body movement and coordination. Moving around and away, blocking (framing), striking - all are basic elements of self defence which should be train all the time. πŸ‘Š Good work Teo! πŸ’ͺπŸ‘

Another great session with Ewelina. Not the easiest one, lot of elements to remember and do, but overall I am very happy with the outcome. ☺️

Choke from behind (pretty much the same as all the other types of choke) is a very dangerous type of attack, as the attacker is applying the pressure on the neck and stoping the air coming to your lungs. Also, there is a psychological effect, as most of the people starts to panic, when they are hold in the choke. Release needs to be fast as much as it possible. Training this types of defence is not only helping you to learn how to get out from this situation, but also it helps you to kind of like β€œget used and not panic” when this type of attack occur.

And again time for knife defences. 😬 Here we have knife threats (NO STABBING - JUST A THREAT) with a simple inside defence and kicks to create time to run away. Yes - RUN AWAY! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ’¨πŸ’¨As you can see, Ewelina was repeating it over and over and over again, to make sure that she can do it automatically, without even thinking. πŸ’ͺ With knifes - keep it fast, keep it simple, keep it real. Bless πŸ™
