☀️POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT ☀️

Positive reinforcement at any stage in a player’s journey, but particularly when they’re young, is incredibly important . It allows children the space to become more comfortable and helps them feel seen and celebrated.

It is a key part of our sessions here, as we believe a positive environment helps players excel!

Across the week, we have quite a few sessions available for U9-U13. At 3 different locations and a range of times, there’s something for everyone! Pre-Season is a great opportunity to get some extra training in and to elevate your skills in time for the next season!

☀️Controlling the ball into space ☀️

We looked at controlling the ball into space, to get away from a defender, and creating a chance to shoot. All the players worked really hard to take the ball with their back foot and set it at an angle that made it easy to shoot. A very enjoyable topic for the players and me!

It’s also always great to see how supportive the players are of one another! As well as trying to improve their own skills, they always help each other - just the kind of environment we strive to create at our sessions!

Our August camp is still a little far away, but we know everyone can use something to look forward to!

As always, it will be run by Peterborough United Coaches & Scouts and will provide specialist training mixed in with loads of fun!
