Today marks one week since we sadly lost a truly special man, Paul — a much-loved husband, dad to Kath, grandad, and friend to so many.
To our gymnastics family, Paul will always be remembered as the heart behind the scenes — the one in the kitchen cooking endless bacon and sausage rolls and lending a hand wherever it was needed. He was our go-to handyman, always there, always helping, and always caring.
His kindness, warmth, and dedication touched everyone who walked through our doors. He was so funny and full of conversation, someone who could brighten any room and make anyone feel instantly welcome. Paul had the most caring nature and always wanted the very best for everyone around him, which is exactly why he meant so much to so many. He will be deeply missed by us all.
Paul’s funeral will take place on Wednesday 27th May at 12:30pm at Peterborough Crematorium. Family flowers only, please. Donations in his memory for Cancer Research can be made on the day at the service, if desired.
Anyone who knew Paul is more than welcome to attend the funeral — we simply ask that you wear bright coloured clothing, as this is what Paul wanted. Afterwards, all are warmly invited to join the family at the Fitzwilliam Arms, Marholm, Peterborough, to celebrate Paul’s life and share memories together.
