Starting the event with a presentation from peterborolidofriends.

8 years ago we announced right here in Peterborough that the Lido Guide first edition would be published, at an earlier Historic Pools event. So it is fitting that we’re here, 10,000 copies later, to talk about a third edition to be published in spring 2027 by Bloomsbury Publishing

Thanks to them for believing in the future of this vital book. And thanks to the 10,000 lido lovers who have got us where we are today. Here’s to another 10,000!

Join us for a fun, unique Dip & Paint session on 30th July and capture the beauty of the Lido using pencil and watercolours - with expert guidance from The Art of Tony Nero!

This relaxing session is suitable for all abilities, from complete beginners to experienced artists. Suitable for age 12+ (under 16's must be accompanied by a paying adult).

Tickets are £23 per person which includes:
