Increased workload for all parties + decreased revenue for all parties = 🤡🙊🙉🙈🤡
🚨 Attention 🚨
Due to the new policy brought in by the management at Sacrewell regarding access to the Artisan Courtyard, it saddens me to announce the cancellation of our Halloween workshops. I feel I have been left with no other choice than to do this.
Everyone who is booked onto a workshop will receive a full refund.
The new policy for red wristbands through all future events is as follows:
Anyone wishing to come into the Artisan courtyard to visit any of the independent small businesses will be held in reception until a member of staff notifies us that we have a customer. We will then have to es**rt you from reception to our shop.
This means we would have to leave either the shop or the workshop unattended or lock up walk to reception and es**rt you to the shop and do this again as you leave. Potentially missing a customer wanting to go into our shop while we are down at reception thinking we are closed.
We know some of you like to come early to our workshops so you can do some shopping with us and the other businesses in the courtyard beforehand or after the workshop.
While our workshops are held at a set time, delays do happen especially on our roads at the moment.
I feel this will completely ruin the experience for everyone attending the workshops as well as putting a strain on myself and my staff.
Leaving customers unattended will also invalidate my business insurance therefore I feel I have no choice other than to do this.
We have worked extremely hard to create some great workshops for you and we know your children enjoy them as much as we do, so it breaks my heart to do this.
We are a small business and this is going to have a huge fiancial impact on us so I need customers to be able to come into our shop whenever they like.
We have a lot of loyal customers who come to us this time of year to do their seasonal shopping and this is an income we cannot afford to lose, so please keep supporting us by coming to our shop and using our click and collect service. We will do our best to get down to reception as quickly as we possibly can. (We do not in anyway agree with this new policy).
If I ever thought my customers would be inconvenienced in this way, I never would have moved here.
I'm sorry for the long post but we are very passionate about what we do and if ever we needed your support, it's now.
