As previously discussed here is a short video of my Vehicle Control Module. The pcb in the box used MOSFETS to trigger forward, reverse, throttle Switch(FS1) and two driveability profiles.
Now using CAN and programming the RPDO on the Sevcon I will not need the MOSFET pcb and I get an additional drive profile to use. I am just waiting on some parts to put this in a box and start using it in anger for field testing. If all goes well I will create a pcb.

I was going through some old posts on YZF600R about how I installed SSRs and then relays to select forward reverse, throttle switch and the two drive ability modes. I have finally worked out how to use the RPDO’s and CAN bus on the Sevcon Gen4 to do the same thing. I Jerry rigged a Nano R4 and CAN transceiver, see photos. I am currently making a perf board prototype then a pcb. Stay tuned!
