Holme lost to Stamford Town ⚫️🟡

A defeat for Holme, as we fall to Stamford Town by 6 wickets. Winning the toss and batting, Holme posted 188.

An early wobble meant opening batter Michael Walker had to dig in and grafted for another half-century! Joined by Nick Bradbury who scored 50 in a great partnership with Michael Walker securing the innings with a 93-run partnership! Some late runs added by Elliot Brewer and Mo Ali saw us reach 188.

Elliot Brewer bowled a brilliant opening spell with the new ball. Gary Borrett got the breakthrough, ending the 50+ run opening stand for Stamford. With Will Evans bowling a fantastic 9 over spell in the middle over, Stamford batted really well and sealed victory.

5️⃣0️⃣ and Player of the match for Michael Walker, battling through the innings with seven different partners at the other end for back to back Saturday fifties.

Holme win opening Holme game ⚫️🟡

Holme won the toss and batted in our first home game of the season at the Manor, Whittlesey. Holme posted 219/4 from their 45 overs! The highlight of the batting was the partnership between Michael Walker and Andy Larkin, 164 run partnership! Finished off by some quick scoring by Will Evans!

Andy Larkin scored a brilliant first ton for the club, scoring 118 from 104 balls, including 17 boundaries! Congratulations to Andy 💯

Michael Walker added another half century to the tally scoring a brilliant 56 in a gritty battle against the new ball, combining with Larkin to take us past 200! 🏏

With the ball, Chloe Sainsbury and Bijoy Joseph were brilliant with the new ball again taking a combined 4 for 46! Nick Bradbury continued his good form with the ball, an unplayable spell taking 3 wickets! Elliot Brewer and Jikson Abraham finished the job off to claim the victory just in time before the rain 🌧️

Another great game played in the right spirit with Nassington! 🤝 No midweek games, next game is Saturday, a bank holiday trip to Stamford Town ☀️

Holme won the opening friendly ⚫️🟡

Holme won the first midweek friendly of the season against Empingham Cricket and Social Club! Thank you to Empingham for your hospitality and the awesome Smash Burgers! 🍔

Elliot Brewer was the star of the show, taking 4 wickets for just 3 runs as well as smacking 29 to take the team to victory!

Captain Caddy took 3 wickets also and starts next week on a hat-trick finishing off the innings with two wickets!

Holme chased 135 for the loss of three wickets. Ian Kendall scoring 36 not out, Mike Walker 25 and of course Elliot Brewer scored 29 on the way to his player of the match performance. Charlotte and Tori Griffin made their cricket debut and both played very well 🙌

1,000 Holme Runs from Pollard ⚫️🟡

Congratulations to opening batter Luke Pollard who brought up 1,000 Holme runs with his unbeaten knock on Monday night.

A class act at the top of the order, Luke Pollard brought up with a milestone in the crunch overs of Monday’s T20 victory.

Scoring 4 half centuries on his way to the milestone, with a top score of 63 on the opening day of the 2026 season! Congrats Luke 🔥
