North Inch Golf Course One of the worlds oldest golf courses. Affordable golf in the centre of Perth, next to the river Tay This is where it all began.

Golf has been played on the ‘Inch’ for over 500 years and it’s one of the worlds oldest golfing venues. Lying within the North Inch parkland and on the banks of the river Tay, North Inch offers an enjoyable challenge to players of all abilities. Only a short iron shot from classical Georgian City of Perth, it is no more than an hours’ drive away for most Scottish golfers. The course is an enjoyabl

e challenge at 5442 yards off the medal tees, with a par of 68. This gives some hope to the beginner and high handicap players, but still offers a challenge to the low handicap player. Having started as a 6 hole course, moving on to 12 and finally 18 holes, the additional holes being laid out by the legendary Old Tom Morris of St Andrews. The North Inch Golf Course is 45 minutes by road from Edinburgh, 30 minutes from Stirling and 20 minutes from Dundee.

⛳️ Hole in One Alert at North Inch Golf Course! ⛳️

A huge congratulations to our very own popular golfer Karen Walters on achieving a fantastic Hole in One on the 16th Hole this Sunday! 🎉🏌️‍♀️

The 16th is a challenging Par 3 measuring 78 yards, where the burn that cuts in at the 15th green continues directly across the fairway, leaving no option but to play over it. A deep bunker guards the front of the green, while the river lurks just to the left, ready to catch any pulled tee shots.

Karen’s ace was so unexpected that there was plenty of searching around the green for her ball. It wasn’t until her playing partner, Gillie McKee, holed out her own ball that Karen’s was discovered sitting proudly at the bottom of the cup! 🏆

What an incredible achievement and a moment to remember.

Congratulations, Karen, from all the staff and fellow golfers at North Inch Golf Course. We’re delighted to celebrate this special milestone with you and look forward to hearing about it for many years to come! 👏⛳️
