A belated entry from Saturday, which was a good finish to the week. Kevin caught an 8lb’er in the March Pool, David a 5lb’er in the Castle Pool and Jim a 5lb’er from the Cormorant Tree.

Everyone at Meikleour was sad to hear of the death of Ronald James Henderson Mann, known as Ron, who was the ghillie at Meikleour from 1979 to 1997. Ron passed peacefully on August 15th at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.

Our thoughts are with the family Ron leaves behind.
