Sports Therapists - Angela Thomson & Eric Duff are a Scottish junior football club based in Scone, Perth and Kinross. Their home ground is Farquharson Park and club colours are black and red. Founded in 1882 Scone Thistle were originally members of the Perthshire Junior League until sw

itching to the Juvenile (or Under 27) league after WW1. After winning the Scottish Juvenile Cup in 1983 the club made the switch back to full Junior football and have been members of the Scottish Junior FA ever since. Currently competing in the SJFA East Region's Midlands League
the club are a major cornerstone of the Scone Thistle Community Club which runs teams at all age groups from 8 years plus coaching schools for younger players. Ben Ayton’s superb direct free-kick brought us level at 1-1 in the first half, before the visitors moved into a 3-1 lead after the break.

The Jaggies kept fighting though, with a Sean Hastie brace completing the comeback to earn a point at home. ❤️🖤

🤝 Everyone at Scone Thistle FC would like to thank Gav Sorley, who has left his role as our first team coach to take up a new coaching opportunity with St Johnstone’s Youth Academy.

Gav’s association with the Jaggies stretches back much further than his recent time spent coaching, having also spent many years representing the club as a player. 🧤

We’re extremely grateful for everything Gav has given to Scone Thistle over the years and wish him every success as he takes the next step in his coaching journey. 👏
