Well done to everyone involved in last night’s incredibly poignant and moving performance, ‘Within the Dust’, commemorating 9/11.

It was a powerful and emotional production, beautifully performed and handled with such sensitivity and respect. 🕊️

Wonderful choreography by Thomas Small, performed beautifully by dancers Taylor San and Malcolm Sutherland.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of this very special production and for the insightful Q and A with the audience afterwards.

We feel privileged to have been involved in such a poignant and thought-provoking evening, commemorating 25 years on.

WITHIN THIS DUST

Tomorrow marks twenty-five years since the tragic 9/11 attacks that transformed the world forever.

Our senior students were honoured to be asked by choreographer Thomas Small to perform a section of his award winning choreography which aims to ensure that younger generations continue to learn the lessons of 9/11 and remembering the legacies of the 2,977 lives lost that day live on.

Final show this evening at 7.30pm.

Inspired by photographer Richard Drew’s iconic images of a man falling from the World Trade Center during the attacks, Within This Dust has been presented to sell-out audiences around the world including Sao Paulo, Berlin and New York City- four times.

Developed by Shaper/Caper’s Thomas Small and dancers, the production weaves together three live dance pieces with animation and real-life survivor accounts, creating an immersive and deeply human response to one of the world’s most devastating events.

⛏️ Scottish Coal Carrying Championships 2026 ⛏️🏆

Another year of being invited along to what is always one of the highlights in our calendar!

It was such an incredible atmosphere in Kelty as competitors took on Scotland’s Toughest Kilometre, the ultimate test of strength, stamina and determination, powering their way through Kelty with heavy sacks of coal on their backs. ⛏️💪

One kilometre may not sound far… but add a steep hill and a bag of coal, and it becomes a challenge like no other!

The sun came out and our dancers had the best time entertaining the crowds. 💃

Thank you once again for having us. We enjoyed every minute. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

It’s always great fun entertaining at our local events, and yesterday was no exception!
Our youngsters had an amazing time at Glen of Rait Games performing for the audience and taking part in all the events.

Dancing, tug of war, sack races, pet competitions, music and stalls… bringing everyone together for a day of good old-fashioned traditional fun and plenty of community spirit! 💃🎶 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🐾

A lovely day all round. Thank you so much for having us, we had a wonderful time! 🥰

A huge congratulations to Faye and Lila on their outstanding results in the 16–18 age category at yesterday’s fabulous UKDCC Dundee event! 🙌✨
Both girls represented the school with incredible energy and professionalism. To top it all off, they’ve both been invited to the Champion of Champions event in Liverpool later this year!🏆

We absolutely love seeing our students enjoying their holidays and even better when they’re still finding time to enjoy their love of dance! 💕
