Thank you to all of the amazing volunteers who make our clubs fantastic. There are an incredible 1484 adult volunteers within our accredited PACES clubs!

To support volunteers, we have an annual course offering, with free place to PACES club volunteers. Huge thanks to The Gannochy Trust for supporting us to offer this.

CELEBRATING VOLUNTEERS WEEK 2026!

Thank you to all of the amazing volunteers who make sport in Perth & Kinross a wonderful place to play and participate!

Like our Young People's Sports Panel who have clocked up the following achievements in 2025/26

⭐Led workshops for the Active Schools Girls for Change event
⭐Supported the delivery of GymFest and the PK Schools Cross Country
⭐Attended training such as ADHD Awareness in Sport
⭐Won awards for their volunteering as well as their athletic success

PK YPSP member Cara also featured on BBC's Countryfile and has been selected as a Glasgow 2026 volunteer!

📍 Dewars Centre, Perth
🕙 37 hours per week (fixed term to 31 March 2028)

We are looking for two highly motivated individuals to be part of our Sports Development team based in Perth.

Successful applicants will be dedicated to the development of community sport; team players driven to make a difference. Each role will take lead responsibility for Community Sports Hubs and Club Support within a specified area of Perth and Kinross.

Individuals will work alongside identified clubs – delivering ‘impact projects’ that support clubs to be strong, inclusive, safe and sustainable – with the intended outcome being a growth in club participation and a more diverse range of club participants across our area.

Closing date: 8 June 2026

By signing up to the charter, sports clubs will:

🟢 Promote inclusive practices & approaches around mental health & wellbeing.
🟢 Embrace inclusion & create a positive & welcoming culture.
🟢 Actively collaborate with & contribute to the charter network & wider communities by sharing learning.
🟢 Review & recognise impacts & achievements in supporting people’s mental health & wellbeing.
