The annual PDCC quiz night returns on Saturday 14 November.

Having done such a good job last year, Ewan Riley returns to co-host, this time with Rory Pennycook.

Usual drill: £40 team entry fee (maximum 4 players per team, strictly no 5s!), ten rounds of questions, 7.30pm start, 10pm (ish) finish, followed by the raffle.

As usual, the bar will be open for refreshments.

It’s a big fundraiser for the club, so we’re hoping for as many teams to enter as possible and will use both rooms if need be.

If you have any gifts to donate for the raffle, they will be gratefully received.

Here is the draw for tomorrow's Social 6s.

We have five teams entered for our Social 6s event tomorrow and will go with a round-robin format: five rounds of games with a one-round break for each team.

Time permitting, we should get a final game at around 16.00.

Obviously, the forecast is not great for tomorrow, but it's only lightish rain that's expected and we will aim to meet at 11.45 and hopefully get a start between 12-12.15.

Should this change for the worse, we will cancel as early as possible.

We will also be running a wee barbeque in the afternoon and the bar will be open all day.

If any club members are available to help with umpiring/scoring or the bar and barbeque, even if only for an hour or two, their help would be greatly appreciated.
