Match Report, 24th May 2026

Blues v Fair City, Yellows v Jeanfield

2 home matches today and 2 brilliant performances. Training this week was all about high intensity, creating chances (and hopefully goals) and working together to get the ball back quickly. Both teams showed this throughout, and as a result we were on the front foot in both matches from the start. We didn't have it all our own way in both games but the reactions and effort today really stood out.

Man of the match Blues - Chase
Made captain today, and striker and embraced both roles to the max! Max effort as always and helped defensively too plus bagged a few goals, great job!

Man of the Match Yellows - Louis
Made an appearance for the Blues today as well which highlights the progress hes been making. Always involved today which we've been working on and created a couple of goals from the right wing. Brilliant effort!

Match Report 10 May 2026

2 home games today, Blues V Crieff and Yellows v Blairgowrie.

Two very tough games today with both teams starting slow and taking a bit more time than usual to find their feet, credit to our opponents today for putting us under pressure from the get go.

Both teams picked up in the 2nd half, with some nice play but most noticeable today was the fighting spirit and the attitude to keep trying to play the correct way in good spirit. Several of the boys were involved in both matches today and played in varying positions - its great to see the enthusiasm to try new things and work hard for each other, special mention to Chase covering a half in goal today and pulling out some amazing saves

Captains

Blues - Oakley
Yellows - Felix

Man of the match, Cameron and Oakley. Both boys involved in both games.

Oakley moved into centre midfield today and was tenacious as ever, with some brilliant skills and some of his trademark dribbling runs keeping everyone entertained. Looking to slide in some through balls today and created some excellent chances, brilliant!

Cameron had a hard shift in goal for both games but pulled off some unbelievable saves, particularly in the first half of of both matches. Much improved distribution from the back helped start off attacks and his focus and concentration meant he was always ready for action, great performance!

On to training this Wednesday!

Match Report 26th April 2026.

2 games today for the 2017s. First week at intermediate and advanced so more football for the boys which could of been a stretch for our squad, but the attitude and togetherness shown from the boys was brilliant from the start.

Crieff and Blairgowrie were the visitors today on a fantastic morning for football.

The effort and attitude was fantastic throughout both games, a real sense of team work with several of the boys playing in both matches and supporting both teams.

Excellent football and creativity led to great goals been scored and some brilliant saves and defending at the other end.

Big shout out to both Captains today, Ruaridh and Zach.

Yellows: Rubin - first game for a while and slotted in like he'd never been away, played multiple positions and never gave up. brilliant performance
Blues: Reece - solid at the back as ever, great distribution and nicked a goal to top it off. Well rounded performance.

Great effort everyone and as always fantastic support from the sidelines

Fantastic start to 7 a sides for Pitfour FC 2017s today.
Lots of great football, bags of effort and plenty rain and mud......think the boys enjoyed it?!
