We’re getting together to give the edges and perimeter around our courts a good tidy-up — weeding, trimming brambles and generally making the area around our lovely courts and clubhouse look its best.

We’ve got a few items of lost property at Perran Tennis Club looking for their rightful owners…

Dave is pictured here modelling a rather lovely Babolat tennis bag that surely must belong to someone! 😆🎾

And yes, before you ask… Dave’s tan and teeth are also looking suspiciously good for someone who spends this much time at the tennis club! 😎🦷😂

If you recognise anything that belongs to you, please let us know and collect it from the club.

⚠️ Anything left unclaimed will be donated to charity THIS WEEK, so don’t leave it too late!

Fancy getting back on court, learning some new skills or simply becoming more confident with your tennis? Our next Adult Beginners & Improvers Course starts in September!

Whether you’re completely new to tennis or returning after a break, this relaxed and friendly course is a great way to improve your game, meet other players and have some fun on court.

🎾 What an amazing few days for Evan Fleet at Wimbledon 🎾

A huge well done to Evan, who proudly represented Cornwall in the Under 14s Play Your Way to Wimbledon competition, taking on players from across the country.

Starting with a field of 48 players, Evan battled his way through to the Top 16! 👏🔥

🎾 Round 2: A nail-biting match against Artem — 6-7, 6-3, 9-11
🎾 Round 3: Evan Fleet def. Finley — 6-3, 6-2
Main Draw
🎾 Round of 32: Evan Fleet def. Nathanael — 2-6, 6-4, 10-5
🎾 Round of 16: Lost to Kai — 4-6, 4-6

Evan showed great determination, resilience and some brilliant tennis throughout the competition, including some incredibly close matches. 💪🎾

What an experience and what a few days to remember.

🎾🍓 Perran Tennis Wimbledon Tournament – What a day! 🍓🎾

What a fantastic Saturday we had on our very own grass courts — sunshine, tennis whites, strawberries and plenty of Wimbledon-style fun!

With all six grass courts in play, we had a brilliant turnout for our random mixed doubles tournament. Players battled it out over 5 rounds of 5 games, with points awarded for games won.

The top and bottom four players in the points table then went through to the semi-finals, creating a fun twist as the strongest performers mixed with those who had battled through from the lower half of the draw.

The final was a brilliant match, with Joanna and Alan taking on junior Iggy and Stephen in a hard-fought and very friendly contest — with the win going to Joanna and Alan. 🎾👏

Off court, everyone enjoyed sandwiches, cakes and strawberries together. 🍓🧁

A huge thank you to Lloyd for kindly donating a fantastic fruit hamper for the raffle, helping to raise even more money for the club — and congratulations to Frasier, who was the lucky winner! 🎉

With tennis whites, grass courts and even a few “Wimbledon-style” moments, it really did feel like a day at SW19!

A very special thank you to June for organising such a brilliant event and bringing everyone together. It was a fantastic day for the club. 💚🎾

🎾🍓 Last chance to enter the Perran Tennis Wimbledon Tournament! 🍓🎾

With Wimbledon in full swing, it’s the perfect time to get involved and enjoy some tennis of our own — on our very own grass courts!

A fun, friendly tournament open to all members — adults and juniors. Come along, have a go, or simply enjoy the afternoon as a spectator and soak up the Wimbledon atmosphere.
