Summer Speed Challenge

What a fantastic afternoon of racing! Thank you so much St Austell Swimming Club for joining us. Thanks also to our amazing volunteers from both clubs and to supporters from other clubs including Nick, Maureen, Katy and Anne for officialling for us. Good luck Tom and Theo on your A Level and GCSE exams this week- thanks boys for timekeeping this afternoon.
And congratulations to the swimmers- there were some fantastic new pbs and great first gala racing from so many of you.

Huge congratulations to this group of swimmers who are smashing it at Millfield for the final weekend of this years’ SW Regional Championships.
Well done to Hugo, Bruce, Zac, Bradley, Florence, Caio and Jason and good luck to Tilly, Ned, Max and Tom who are still to swim for weekend 3.

Weekend Two for our amazing team of Penzance Youth Regional Swimmers who are at Hengrove, Bristol. Day one has seen some fantastic swims from Max, Dmitri, Talia, Evie (and Tom swimming with Mount Kelly.)
Huge congratulations guys- you nailed it. It’s always a delight watching you all swim and we can’t wait to watch you again tomorrow.

UPDATE: Day two and three continued the trend with some great swimming again from these 5 and new pbs.

Huge congratulations to our Regional Swimmers at Millfield this weekend.
We have seen some fantastic results and we are all super proud of you all! Being the most South Westerly club in the whole of the Country, swimming in a 50m pool with a 2 hour drive for access to our nearest one is a challenge: but one that will not hold you guys back. A massive well done to all of you brave swimmers. Special mention to Florence for her first ever swimming regional medals 🥉🥉🥉🥉 Congratulations!

We’re excited to support not just swimmers, but parents too at this year’s SESW Summer Swimming Championships 2026, delivered by Swim England South West.

In collaboration with AP Race, we’re hosting free online parent workshops designed to help you feel confident and prepared ahead of the Championships.

These are repeat sessions, so you only need to attend one.
