Aimeè competed so well with positivity and an abundance of confidence which received recognition by judges and competitors 🥰

She placed 6th overall out of a huge category, 6th on Bars, 6th Beam and 🥈 on Floor. A huge congratulations to Aimeè for such an amazing achievement in just 6 weeks of training 👏

Sian WON her category with outstanding performances all round. What an amazing come back for her 🏆

🌟 Wishing Aimeè and Sian the absolute best of luck today at the British Gymnastics adult championships in lilleshallnationalsportscentre

Aimeè walked into our club 6 weeks ago after ending her gymnastics career 6 years ago as beginner gymnast who’d never competed 4 pieces. 6 weeks on she’s got her first ever full set of amazing routines and representing PZGC at a national event. We couldn’t be more proud of her.

Sian will be representing the Royal Navy Gymnastics but all at PZGC will be cheering our coach on - Go Sian!!

Yesterday, we visited Trevassack Lake Cafe to meet Anna and Rupert from The Children's Sailing Trust, who share our passion for creating inclusive opportunities within our communities.

Since 1997, CST have been supporting the community with their charitable sailing program and demonstrating how being out on the water teaches a variety of key life skills ⛵️ 🏄 🏊🏼

We discussed developing SEND aims and linking up to explore collaborative activities that will strengthen the vital support and personal skills both organisations provide to local schools, SEND and educational groups and family services.

We look forward to this new chapter ahead 🤸🏼‍♀️ 🚤

🌟💙 What an unforgettable milestone for PZC! 💙🌟

We couldn’t be prouder of our incredible Youth Team, who represented PZC at our very first International Cheerleading Competition and placing 6th overall ✨

These amazing athletes stepped onto the international stage with courage, determination, and team spirit, giving their absolute best performance and making memories that will stay with them for a lifetime. From the excitement of competing to the friendships, experiences, and lessons gained along the way, this journey has been truly special.

While results are always a part of competition, what matters most is the growth, confidence, resilience, and joy our athletes showed throughout the entire experience. Every single one of these girls represented our club with pride, passion, and sportsmanship, and we are immensely proud of each and every one of them. 💫

Congratulations to Coach Hollisi for creating such a creative routine and giving these girls the unforgettable experience 🥰

🌟 A fantastic day at the club! 🌟

We were delighted to welcome Lee Timothy, British Gymnastics’ new South & South West Regional Development Lead, for his very first South West club visit — and we’re incredibly proud that it was with us! 🤸‍♀️

Over lunch at thecabinperranuthnoe we shared our club’s journey, celebrated our successes, and discussed our continued commitment to growth, development, and creating opportunities for our gymnasts, staff, and volunteers.

It was also great to be joined by Laura from activecornwall whose support and enthusiasm helped spark exciting conversations about future opportunities and partnerships.

And, in true club spirit, Lee and Laura stepped outside their comfort zones and achieved a first of their own — performing a forward roll on the beam! 👏😄 (check our stories for their performances)

Thank you Lee and Laura, for an inspiring visit. We’re excited about collaborating and the future of PZGC 💙🩵🤍
