Bit late posting this but here are are a few of my little ones in action at the end of summer term. The babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers have grown and progressed so much in the water this year, gaining confidence and skills as well as one to one bonding time with their adults. Absolutely precious to watch and be a part of. Especially since a few are graduating into my after school classes - having swum with me since newborn! Well done everyone and look forward to seeing you (and my older kids!) in September! 💙

💙Baby/Toddler Swim Lessons at Jubilee Pool - 26th August spaces available!💙

Hannah May from Swim Start Cornwall will be joining our team to deliver her baby and toddler swim classes in our geothermal pool. Hannah is a highly qualified and experienced instructor and ex-National level swimmer (and local mum of two) specialising in pre-school ages. With a focus on fun and child development, she'll introduce your little ones to the water to help them develop basic aquatic skills such as buoyancy, movement, and breathing as they discover the joy and lifelong skill of swimming.

Classes are designed around the Active Start stage of Swim England's Pre-School Framework, meaning that little ones will develop the confidence and core skills required to swim independently. Adults will learn how to effectively hold and support their children as they build a connection with each other and with water. An engaging games-led approach includes action songs, aquatic activities and free play as Hannah works both within the group and individually, tailoring each session to the needs of every child.

Please note: One adult will be required to be in the water with every child. You do not need to be able to swim - just to hold and move with your child whilst in the water (approx. waist depth).

These sessions are available on 2 days - on 5th (sold out) and on 26th August at 1000 and 1030. Feel free to book in to learn more about how to introduce your little one to the fun of swimming! Join the fun!

SENARA
Senara is still only 3 years old and I’ve been teaching her since she was a newborn. I shot this a little while back so she’s even better now - but she can already swim full stroke front crawl (not yet side breathing) and backstroke. Here showing multiple aquatic skills including pushing and gliding, streamlining, rotation and coordination- which I teach to all ages and abilities to enable them to learn to swim. She’s definitely one to watch! 🩵
