TRAIN SMART IN THE HEAT
Another heatwave is here, but that doesn’t mean your training has to stop—it means we need to train sensibly.
High temperatures and humidity make it harder for your body to cool itself, so your usual workout may feel more demanding.
- Hydrate before, during and after training
- Reduce the intensity when needed
- Take longer rest periods
- Wear light, breathable clothing
- Listen to your body—this may not be the day to chase a personal best
If you experience dizziness, headache, nausea, muscle cramps or unusual weakness, stop exercising, move somewhere cooler and let a member of the Oxygen team know.
Keep showing up, keep moving and keep progressing—but always put your health first.
Train hard. Train smart. Stay safe.
