🌅Summer Solstice - Geo Sound Bath at Jubilee Pool🌅

📆Sunday June 21st 0830 - 0930

Join us for a meditative experience and be "bathed" in sound waves from the singing bowls, percussion, and chimes, all while floating in the calming warm waters of the geothermal pool. Liz from Holistic Healing Cornwall is leading the session.

As you will be stationary for the session we recommend wearing a neoprene vest or similar to help maintain body temperature.

Pool noodles will be provided for floatation if needed.

£25 per person. Cafe open from 0930 serving Breakfast and Cakes!

🔥Our Sauna is closed on Tuesday 16th June for ongoing maintenance.

The Boys are back from Penwith College, to continue with some remedial work, to ensure that the Sauna becomes easier to maintain in the future!

We appreciate your understanding, and the support of Penwith College, and apologise for the inconvenience while some ongoing maintenance is carried out on the Sauna.

The Geothermal, Sea Pool and Cafe will remain open.

Due to a private event, we will be closing the cafe early tomorrow afternoon. Serving lunches, hot drinks, breakfasts and snacks until 1330, we hope this doesn't inconvenience you too much!

We were thrilled to welcome more than 96 local schoolchildren on Monday (8 June) for a large‑scale water safety day delivered in partnership with the RNLI, Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service, Surf Life Saving Great Britain (SLSGB).

The event brought together children from three local schools for a fun, hands‑on programme designed to build confidence in and around the water. Throughout the day, pupils rotated through activity zones where they learned how to use a lifeguard rescue board, practised throwing a rescue line, explored water safety flags and inflatables guidance, and tried the RNLI’s lifesaving ‘Float to Live’ technique. This skill could one day save their life.

😎Kids Swim Lessons at Jubilee Pool - Summer 2026😎

These lessons are the perfect way for your child to start or improve their swimming in the school holidays. The intensive one-week course will help your child to develop lifelong skills to enjoy the water safely. Classes take place in the unique setting of the Geothermal pool. Course fee includes 5 x group taught lessons daily from Monday to Friday in August; and free entry to the main pool for the child and Guardian for until 1:30pm on those days.

Please note these classes are available for children age 4+, who are confident to be alone in the water.

💙Beginners / non-swimmers 💙 Beginners stages 1 & 2

Using a games - led approach, learners will develop basic safety awareness including safe water entry, learn basic movement and water confidence skills.

Swimmers will become confident with the face in the water and being able to float, pushing off from the wall, developing kicking ability, leading to independent travel in water up to 5m unassisted. Parent / carer to bring suitable swimwear and be prepared to assist in the water if their child requires additional support and reassurance.

☀️Improvers able to float and travel up to 5m through the water unassisted☀️ Intermediate stages 3 & 4

In this stage swimmers will be introduced into streamline through push and glides from the wall, whilst also swimming underwater. Swimmers will develop safe entry into the water, including submersion, and aim to travel up to 10 metres on their front and back. Water safety knowledge and rotation skills will also be progressed. Learners will work on leg kicks for all four strokes and be introduced to sculling.

🌊 World Ocean Day 🌊

At Jubilee Pool, the ocean is at the heart of everything we do.

As a sea water lido, we're reminded every day how important it is to protect our oceans for future generations. From reducing waste where we can to encouraging visitors to enjoy and respect our incredible coastal environment, sustainability is an ongoing part of our journey.

To help spread the message this World Ocean Day, we're giving away a selection of pencils and postcards on behalf of Vent for change whose sustainable products we stock in our shop. Pop in, pick one up, and join us in celebrating the sea that makes Jubilee Pool so special.

🏊‍♀️ Would you like to teach Aquafit at Jubilee Pool?🏊‍♀️

Do you love disco beats, energising workouts, and making a splash while keeping people fit? This could be your perfect next move!

We have already covered one evening session, but are still ideally looking to add 2 more daytime sessions to our summer timetable, and are open to discussing which days work for you.

About the role:
Our AquaFit classes blend cardio and resistance training in the water - low-impact, high-energy, and suitable for all fitness levels.

Current sessions:
Wednesday at 1800 - with Naomi
We are looking to add 2 more daytime sessions.

We’re looking for someone who:

* Brings enthusiasm and positivity
* Loves motivating others
* Enjoys a good disco soundtrack 🎶
* Holds an Aquafit teaching qualification (or has fitness qualifications and is happy to add Aquafit)
