Brand new 37” Kiri Bambi Blunt Nose Fish. Constructed from a laminated paulownia x bamboo x paulownia sandwich. Pre-bent nose rocker and tail concave. Strong, light and with just the right amount of flex dialled in, this shape is a go-to of mine for all conditions. £200 plus shipping (£215 total, to most locations on mainland UK). Bit special, this one. I shaped this paipo fish from solid paulownia to be exhibited for a year in the surfing. It was shaped as an homage to Steve Lis, inventor of one of the most iconic and enduring surfboard shapes of all time. What I was fascinated to learn was that, a couple of years before he created the Fish, Lis won the paipo world championships, when he was just 16. It therefore seemed appropriate to create a paipo fish to honour him. This board is virtually perfect, having been carefully stored and never surfed. It will rip in the surf or will be a worthy addition to anyone’s collection. Would have been £350 new. Yours for £200 plus shipping. This has been a long time coming! We’ve been hovering at the threshold of this number for AGES and there have been many times when I wished I could switch these metrics off, rather than obsess over them! That said, I am delighted that we’ve finally passed this little milestone and I can’t thank you enough for your support. Whether, you’ve bought a board from us, a t-shirt or maybe you just have a passing Insta-interest in what we do, it all matters to us.
