Quite chuffed with myself,, been trying for over 2 yrs to get paint too stick to plastisol and actually gave up which broke my heart as I'd spent yrs honing my airbrush skills on hard lures and wanted to see if they were transferable to a soft plastic !
Well last week I came across a company who had just started importing a paint specifically designed for soft plastics,,,, woo hooo, game on!!!

Ordered immediately and got some basic coloured and a special varnish, here's my first prototype of a sandeel imitation and I'm over the moon,, plenty of experimenting to be done and I'm well excited at the possibilities 😀
Anyway hope you like what I'm beginning to do ,, they're are so many possibilities!!

Had to make some more "twerkers" for stock today , but hot to be with cooking up plastisol in this heat but needs must!
Proven to be a very successful lure this last year and have got some exciting plans for its future!

I'm now almost exclusively using my own hard and soft lures which I originally thought to be a pipe dream but im overjoyed with the results of catching

For me combining my 2 passions of art and fishing has resulted in me going full circle from concept , development and finally catching is probably my happiest achievement!

Forgot to post these the other day,had too make a few more darters in the the colour shift scad style as they sold out in our local tackle shop! I don't usually do cooour shifts but this works well with my blended oil effect on its flanks,done a bit more hand painting on these too , hope you like!😁

Had to make some " Twerkers" as stock was running low,they are selling well with fantastic results so I took some time out to play with some colour shift,I'm only experimenting atm but I'm liking how subtle this process can be,this is a tiny amount and I'm confident already, ill slowly increase the dose until saturated and see the results ,I don't post many sp's as there's not a lot of art involved and that's my passion next to fishing obviously but I need them and fisherman like and use them ,,I'm still a newbie at this but am in no hurry ,besides my plain white "twerker" has caught me countless bass this season already so its a win win 😀, hope you see the subtlety I'm talking about!

As promised here's the bass I caught on that " Parminter glass arse" I just posted ! Happy days! I usually fish white water boulder fields but this mark was flat calm and deserved a topwater!😁

Took this bad boy topwater out for a spin couple of days ago,it in my personal collection and has an effortless wtd action ,long cast due to it being sold resin 2 parts ,top half is my casting resin with micro balloons that makes it float and the bottom half is epoxy clear which acts as the weight and can contain glitter etc,,it took ages to get the right proportions as I wanted it to float horizontal and yet have most of the weight behind the centre of drag,its poured in one mold with a curing time interval ,kinda propped up 15mm nose end to let the epoxy settle ,,was a bit off hit and miss I can tell you ,😄I caught 10 bass that night ,7 on this "Parminter glass arse" I couldn't post the bass pics with this post so I'll post them separately shortly ,, brilliant best session this year oh mostly at night too!!! Mental!😃👍
