Pentewan Valley Cycle Hire Pentewan Valley Cycle Hire is set on the beautiful Pentewan trail that goes to St Austell, Heligan Gardens or Mevagissey all off road.

Other destinations requiring some road work include The Eden Project, Charlestown and Carlyon Bay/Crinnis Beach. Cycles and accessories for hire. New and used cycles for sale. Repairs and servicing undertaken.

After our unfortunate false start at the beginning of our season because of Andy's aortic valve replacement surgery, we are pleased to be back at the cycle hire and ready to start the summer holidays!!
Opening hours at the moment are Monday to Friday 9-5
In order for healthy recouperating to continue, we are aiming to have Saturdays as a day of rest, and start a little later on Sundays.
We look forward to seeing you all again for hires, repairs and bike servicing.

Andy is now 11 weeks post open heart surgery and is feeling as good as expected at this stage in his recovery.

Some of you may have noticed that we have been working at the cycle hire on odd days and we thank all those who have stopped by to enquire for his health and wish us well for the continuation of our season.

We have been taking our time to return by having breaks between the working days and hope to be as near to full time as we can be by the time the schools break up.

I've been posting outside our shed the days that we are open, but please feel free to phone us before you arrive to make sure we are there. Sorry to those people who have turned up and found that we have been closed.

We are looking forward to returning to our normal working life and welcoming all our customers for bike hires, repairs and servicing.

After announcing that the start of our season would be this week, unfortunately, everything is on hold.... A good lesson that you never know what is around the corner!

In light of some heart health challenges coming our way in the next few weeks, we have taken the hard decision to close the cycle hire until we can run the business together, safely and well.

We apologize to all our valued customers.
Hopefully we will be up and running again by mid July.
