After an interesting start to the week I’m very pleased to say that we suffered no damage to the shop from fire or water. The fire brigade contained the fire in the upstairs flat very quickly and did an amazing job to ensure it didn’t spread. Very thankful.

The final day of the 12 bikes of Christmas is here!!! This for me is one of my personal favourites. If this was under my Christmas tree in 1983 I would have been the happiest kid alive!! The Raleigh Ultra Burner in the rarer silver and blue colour way. This bike is 95% original with just new tyres and pad set. The blue anodised parts really set it off. I hope you like it as much as I do. Merry Christmas 🎄🍺

Something a little different for day 11. This is a replica I built of my own 1989 race MTB. it’s an 87 muddy fox aluminium frame with Pace rigid forks. XT groupset but running Campagnolo brake levers. The stem and bars are ones I made during my apprenticeship at Pendennis ship yard along with the front brake brake booster plate. The tyres are also my original ones that have been in the garage for 35 years!! It may not be for everyone but personally this is one of my favourites. Needless to say, it’s not for sale!

It’s day 10. Heading back to around 1992 for this early GT Zaskar. This one is hard to date accurately as the frame was not date stamped or serial numbered. It’s not been ground off before you say it. Apparently some didn’t get stamped in the factory. It’s built up with a mix of period correct parts and is just a cool bike and iconic in MTB history. Once again it’s not for sale…………….at this time.

Day 9 of the 12 bikes of Christmas. Today we have a very special Officine Mattio. This is a handmade Italian carbon frame and fork dressed in full Campagnolo Super Record esp. it rolls on Campagnolo Bora Ultra WTO wheel set. This really is an amazing bike! Once again this is not for sale.
