BOTTLE MATCH FUNDRAISER 2025! 💙💛

It’s that time of year once again where the lads will be putting their dignity on the line to raise money and awareness for charity. Members of the team will be subjected to some shocking trims, all in support of Pegasus Men’s Mental Health! 🤦‍♂️✂️ (Swipe to see last year’s disasters and inspiration for this years trims)

The team will be proudly sporting these monstrosities in the lead-up to Bottle Match and throughout the big weekend itself! 💙💛

We’ve chosen Pegasus Men’s Mental Health again this year because men’s mental health is something that means a lot to us as a team. Football is all about having each other’s backs, and that includes off the pitch too.

Su***de is still the leading cause of death for men under 50, and men make up 75% of suicides in the UK. Too many lads struggle in silence, afraid to speak up or thinking they’d be a burden. That needs to change. CSM Football is committed to doing our bit to break the stigma and encourage more conversations around mental health.

CSM 2024/25 TRIAL DATES 🗓️ ⚽

Huge congrats to all those coming down to Falmouth this September. Well done on your results and you couldn’t have picked a better uni to come to!! 💙💛

If sporting achievement is on your to do list for the next 3 years then CSM is for you! Bottle winners, Debut Uni Cup winners and best of all the only team on campus to play Saturday league football, at one of the highest levels in Cornwall might I add.

Competition will be fierce but CSM isn’t just about the football, if ur fairly crap with ur feet but a right laugh on nights out then definitely make sure to show ur face at the trials!

We understand if you can't make all the trials but please try your best to make as many as possible so we can get a good and fair look at everyone there!

Looking forward to seeing all you freshers on the 17th and hopefully at FRESHERS FAYRE ON THE 18TH OF SEPTEMBER!!! No worries if you're not a fresher- ALL ARE WELCOME! ⚽

A massive congratulations to all those who received their A-Level results today from CSM Football! 🍾🎉

We look forward to seeing you all down in Cornwall at University of Exeter Cornwall and at Falmouth University too!

Hope to see as many of you as possible during Freshers Week and this year's Freshers Fayre too with the Falmouth & Exeter Students' Union. 2024 UNI CUP CHAMPIONS 💙💛

And just like that CSM have won the Uni Cup. The Miners battled hard and played well to defeat FXU 4-0 in their first game and then to beat Tremough 4-1 straight after in the second game ⚒️⚒️

Fantastic performance all round from boys to snag another trophy to round off what has been a successful 2023/24 season for CSM.

The 2024 Barrel Match ⚒️⚽

Last Saturday some of CSM's finest old boys came down and paired up with this season's CSM's leavers to take on the current CSM team.

Unfortunately for the current XI the old boys managed to come away with a big 10-6 win in which there was proper end to end football with lots of attacking and not much defending. Either way all the lads had fantastic afternoon in the Cornish sun.

After the boys all got stuck in to a good old fashioned social watching the champions league final and heading out on the town for a few 🍻

We'd like to thank everyone who came down for the weekend to watch and glad you all had a good time. Hope to see you all next year!

BARREL MATCH ANNOUNCEMENT 🗓️⚒️

Calling all former CSM Footballers!! We're buzzing to announce that Barrel Match will be taking place on Saturday the 1st of June. So get yourself down for the weekend for some of that Falmouth summer sunshine, some football and of course a fair few drinks 🍻

We'll announce times closer to the date but we will play the match in the afternoon at Falmouth School Sports Hub before a quick change and then heading to the pub to watch the Champions League Final together! ⚽

On Saturday CSM once again won the annual Bottle Match against mining rivals RSM.

💙💛 BOTTLE MATCH SQUAD 💙💛

THE 2024 BOTTLE MATCH SQUAD IS FINALLY HERE!!! ⚽⚒️

It's the moment we've been waiting all year for... The annual Bottle Match against and CSM are more determined than ever to defend the trophy for another year and keep it in Falmouth!!

CSM take on their mining rivals from Imperial College on the Saturday the 24th of February at Falmouth School Sports Hub 3G.

Kick off is at 1pm so make sure you're there to turn Falmouth School into the Cornish Fortress we all know it can be!! We'll need all the support we can get so pack out the ground, bring some banners and make your voices heard for the full 90 minutes and be our 12th man!! 💙💛

2024 Bottle Match Charity Fundraiser 💛💙

For this year's Bottle Match (23rd/24th of Feb) the lads will be raising money and awareness for Pegasus Men's Mental Health and Wellbeing Centre over in Redruth. We'll be doing so by giving out some absolutely atrocious haircuts to the team (swipe across to see some of last year's cuts and some new hair cuts for this year as inspiration). The lads will be rocking these cuts for the build up to bottle and for the big weekend itself!! 💙💛

We have chosen Pegasus Men's Mental Health for this year's bottle as men's mental health is something of Great important to the whole team, so the lads would love to do their bit by raising as much money and awareness for the cause as possible.

Su***de is the leading cause of death for men under 50 in this country and men make up 75% of UK suicides each year. Men are also far less likely to talk about and seek help over issues with mental health worrying they'd be a 'burden' or are too embarrassed. This has to change and CSM Football are committed to doing everything to change this.

It's been a great but tough footballing 2023 on the pitch for CSM. We've had some great highs and some slight lows on the pitch as we continue to battle in St Piran's Division 1 West after last season's promotion. ⚽⚒️

Can expect some even bigger games and better performance in 2024 and of course watch out for the upcoming Bottle Match in February too.
