Self defence and martial arts training, while related, have different primary focuses. Self-defense emphasises practical techniques for immediate survival in the real world, often used in unpredictable situations. Martial arts, on the other hand, often involves structured training, physical and mental discipline as well as rules and regulations that need to be followed.

The phrase "No amount of guilt can change the past" serves as a poignant reminder that dwelling on past mistakes or misfortunes is ultimately unproductive. Guilt, while a natural emotional response to wrongdoing, cannot alter what has already occurred.
Instead of seeking to change the unchangeable, it's more constructive to focus on learning from the experience and making amends where possible.
