Cumbria Football Academy

Cumbria Football Academy CFA is a select academy that delivers high standard training sessions on a weekly basis. There will be a small charge per player per session to cover costs.

Hello Coach,

Danny Grainger and Gary Dicker are both currently players at Carlisle United and are UEFA licensed coaches we are currently developing a new Academy called "Cumbria Football Academy" and would like to offer you the chance to nominate players who you believe would be interested and benefit from our Academy. Our aim is to develop players technical, tactical, physical and psychological

aspects of the game with a progressive program of drills and sessions that will be designed to meet all aspects of the modern game and give them confidence in a friendly, safe environment. The Academy will be structured with training sessions with a game which will be arranged at the end of the each block of training periods against semi pro or professional clubs. This is not intended to conflict with your current football timetable and would merely be in addition. We also aim to engage with other Pro clubs and semi pro clubs to give the players a chance to play in an environment where not only would it enhance their development but would possibly provide opportunities for them to progress to a higher level within the game.

But alongside that, we place just as much value on camaraderie, laughter and enthusiasm. We believe the best environment is one where people work hard, support one another, enjoy the journey and take pride in being part of the team.
