The workshop stocks a range of parts, bike care products and quality used bikes prepared to our high standards. Andrew began his cycle career in April 1994 as a Saturday boy at Greenstiles Cycles, Machynlleth, Mid Wales. In 1998 he began working full time at the shop, and progressed to manager until 2005. That summer while completing his Cytech Level 2 training in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, an opportunity presented itself to work for the popular local shop Buckingham Bikes. He worked in sales in the main shop for a year, before being offered the role of manager for the shop's standalone workshop premises. He remained there until early 2011, overseeing a busy team of mechanics. During this time Andrew and his girlfriend Laura had been spending increasing amounts of time travelling up to the Lake District, in awe of the stunning scenery and endless opportunities for cycling and walking. The lure became too much, and so the decision was made to move to the Penrith area in March 2011. A part time job at the local bike shop quickly progressed to full time, and he worked there as a senior mechanic until February 2015, gaining his Cytech Level 3 qualification in the process.
