What a fantastic morning of football from all our U6 teams! 💚⚽
So proud of how far the lads have come since the start of the season. The effort, teamwork and confidence on show today was brilliant from start to finish. Isaac, Bilal, Mason Alvey and Jack all put in superb performances, while George Nedin bagged himself a brilliant hat-trick! Some of the passing played today was honestly some of the best seen up there all season against some very strong teams. 👏🏼
Another team showed incredible determination across all 3 games, with Jack, Leo, George and Louie working their socks off throughout. The results didn’t quite reflect how well they played, with a draw and two unlucky defeats despite creating loads of chances and playing some excellent football. Our Elite Timepieces Player of the Week was Jack Arundal for his fantastic goals, passing and all-round play. 💪🏼
Our 3rd Team finished the Pure season off in style, the lads were absolutely outstanding — dominating all three games while playing with huge smiles on their faces. Big wins against Dunvant, Mumbles and Birchgrove capped off a brilliant morning, only conceding 2 goals across the festival. A huge shoutout to Archie Bennet, our JDK Catering Player of the Week, for his relentless energy, tackling, passing and goals all morning long! 🔥
Massive thanks to all the parents and grandparents for the support throughout the season, especially through the freezing winter mornings. We really are lucky to have such a fantastic group of kids and families involved. Let’s enjoy the last couple of festivals before a well-earned summer break and come back fighting fit next season! 💚
