🚨 Missing left with your irons? It might not be what you think…

Most golfers blame an over-the-top swing, but the issue could be a release causing the clubface to point left at impact.

Try this simple drill:

✅ Maintain wrist hinge in downswing
✅ Pause when the shaft is parallel to the floor
✅ Keep the left arm pointing towards your right toe

Small change. Big difference. 🎯

🚨 Gained 20+ yards in 15 minutes… and we didn’t change the swing, we changed the grip to improve the club face at impact.

Chris was losing distance because of 2 things:
❌ Weak grip
❌ Open club face at impact

The fix? ✅
🏌️ Strengthen the grip
🏌️ At shaft parallel on the backswing the feel was either:
• Glove logo pointing more towards the floor
OR
• Club face matching spine angle

Result?
📈 Ball speed jumped
📈 Carry distance increased
📈 Over 20 extra yards gained

Small simple changes. Big difference.

Stop trying to lift the golf ball in the air 🚫⬆️

If you take the club too far inside and then try to help it up, expect thin shots, fats and even the dreaded hosel rocket 😬

Instead, feel:
✅ Club goes straight back
✅ Let the loft do the work
✅ Feel the club exit slightly left through impact

This creates cleaner contact, more consistency and better strikes without trying to lift it.

Shanks fixed ✅

If you keep hearing “keep your right elbow close” and still shank it… this could be why 👇

✅ Right elbow stays close to the body
✅ Club travels behind the hands
✅ Club head stays behind the toe line

The mistake?
Some golfers get the elbow in / close to the body on the downswing… but the club travels outside the toe line 🚫

Try this drill:

1. Get the right elbow close to your body
2. Keep the club head behind an imaginary toe line
3. Feel the club stay behind you in transition
4. Make small 1/2 swing focusing on contact

The goal isn’t just elbow position… it’s elbow position AND club position working together.
