Pen*stone Leisure Centre is a registered charity, run by the community, for the community. We are asking for your help to aid essential improvements and ongoing maintenance of the centre building and to continue supporting all our current activities.

Every little helps, whether its adding 50p to your usual class or gym payments.

🎮 FREE Summer Wellbeing & Digital Creativity Programme
🧒 For children aged 8+
💜 Funded through Barnsley's Great Childhoods Ambition (GCA)

Does your young gamer dream of:
🎮 Playing exciting team challenges?
🎥 Creating their own gaming content?
🎨 Designing gaming-inspired merchandise?
🤝 Making new friends who share their passion?
Then this is the perfect summer opportunity!
We're running TWO FREE five-session programmes this summer:
🗓️ Week 1 – Starting 21st July
🗓️ Week 2 – Starting 27th July
📅 Full session dates and times for each programme can be found on the registration page.
📍 Venue: Pen*stone Leisure Centre
🌍 Open to children from anywhere across Barnsley.
Each programme follows the same group of young people from start to finish, building confidence, creativity and friendships along the way before culminating in a fantastic Family Gaming Day, where parents, carers and siblings are invited to join the celebration and experience everything the participants have created.
⚠️ Please note: This is not a drop-in activity. Participants must be able to attend all five sessions, as every session builds towards the final showcase. Only 1 week programme per participant. You can't book your gamer for both weeks.
❓ If you have any questions or would like to discuss whether the programme is suitable for your child, please contact us before registering – we're always happy to help.
