A huge well done to manager Steve for being awarded Clubperson of the Year at the PCFC awards night ⭐️

Steve has been an invaluable part of the club since the girls’ section was founded, playing an instrumental role in its development and giving young girls in the Pen*stone area the opportunity to get involved with the club.

Well deserved Steve, and thank you for all the support, time and dedication you’ve given to make the club what it is today 👏

Our final award of the night is our clubperson of the year.

Steve Stead has been a massive part of making our Girls and Women's section grow year on year, and has now become part of the committee.

A convincing 1-0 win on Sunday 💪

Getting the break just before half time with an assist from Emily Sammon nicely finished off by Alice Norman, the team didn’t hold off on the press and withstood Rossington’s pressure to gain the 3 points ⭐️

A tough battle today against second in the league Brinsworth Whitehill.

The team put in an overall good performance, arguably better than last week when they brought home all three points, but sadly their efforts weren’t reflected in today’s scoreline against a very strong side.

⭐️ POM went to Fliss Cooke (sponsored by Basement Dreams ) who nullified the Brinsworth attack after being moved to right back. Cooke worked tirelessly and put in some great challenges in the back four.

A well deserved 3 points in yesterday’s crunch fixture vs Dearne & District.

The squad delivered a professional performance, taking the lead after a fantastic press from Cooke and Stead lead to a Dearne fumble, quickly snatched up by Sammon and passed through on goal to Leason-Hurley who showed no mercy in making it 1-0.

⭐️ PoM went to Beth Ayrton who had another class game for the Church. As usual, she brought her composure, experience and confidence to the team to smother any goal-scoring threats and dominate the game.
