🌺🏖️ What a day at Gala Day! 🏖️🌺

I honestly couldn't be prouder of everyone who took part with us on Saturday. The effort, enthusiasm, and team spirit from everyone involved was absolutely incredible!

Our Hawaiian/Beach Party-themed float looked amazing, and thanks to everyone's hard work, we were delighted to win both the Best Vehicle Award and the Colin Harrison Best Fancy Dress Award! 🏆🏆

A huge thank you goes to Julie, who for the second year running was up bright and early with me decorating the float, I’m sure you’ll agree it looked amazing!!

I also have to give a special mention to our parents' WhatsApp group, who helped me remember all the little details and kept everything running smoothly in the lead-up to the day. It really does take a team!
Lindsay for the cookies and bubble machines etc and Kellie for the amazing playlist 🙌🏻

The effort from everyone was outstanding. Not only did our swimmers embrace the Hawaiian theme, but so many parents got involved with dressing up too! 🌺🌴 And a special shout-out to Leo's granny, who turned up in a personalised t-shirt—top effort! 👏😂

And we can't forget Oskar and Ellie's dad, who alongside Julie had everyone taking part in limbo along the route using a decorated brush pole! 😂🌴 The crowd loved it and it added to the amazing atmosphere.

Huge thanks to Fraser at FDA Landscaping for the use of the van and trailer.

Most importantly, thank you to every swimmer, parent, family member, and supporter who came along and got involved. Seeing everyone smiling, laughing, dancing, and having such a great time is what it's all about.

I am so greatful for the amazing friends and family around me. Your support means more than you'll ever know, and without it I simply couldn't do this. I feel incredibly lucky to have such wonderful people in my corner. ❤️

Days like these remind me just how lucky we are to have such an amazing swim family.

So... next year? 👀

Well Penicuik Gala Week has officially started ☀️🎉

Unfortunately today’s lessons at Barony Castle Hotel had to be cancelled due to the pool temperature being too cold for lessons to go ahead comfortably.

I’m really sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment this may cause, especially for the little ones who were excited to swim today.

Everyone affected will receive a credit for today’s lesson which will be added to your next block booking. For some classes — mainly baby lessons — if I have availability on another day, I’ll do my best to offer you an alternative session where possible.

🎉 WOW… where did those 2 years go?! 🎉

Today marks 2 years of Swim With Lauren! 💙🏊‍♀️

I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported my little business over the last two years. From my very first adult and baby class 2 years ago today, to all the wonderful swimmers I teach now — I’m so grateful for every single one of you.

Teaching all your little ones honestly makes my job so much fun, and it’s been such a privilege watching so many children grow in confidence and develop their love for the water. 🥹

Thank you for trusting me to be part of your swimming journey. Here’s to many more splashes, smiles, and swimming memories ahead! 💦✨

This is Finan from our adult & baby lessons — and he’s starting to swim on his own at just ONE year old!

I am sooo proud. Moments like this honestly make me smile from ear to ear just watching the video back. Watching their confidence grow week by week is the best feeling.

This is exactly why I love my job! 😍

Hi everyone,

I’m currently away on holiday ☀️

Payment for our new block was due on Monday – I’ll be checking these this week before contacting anyone on the waiting list if any spaces become available.

I’ll be keeping an eye on emails for anything urgent, but all enquiries will be responded to when I return on Monday 20th April.

I hope you’re all having a lovely Easter break 🐣
