*Update 19/08: we have reopened again as usual!*

Please note the centre is fully closed due to no running water.
Swimming lessons today are canceled. Our reception team will be in contact to those who should be attending a lesson.

There is currently no running water at The Penicuik Centre. Scottish Water have been notified and are working to resolve this as soon as possible.

The building is currently closed – please do not attend at this time.

Our reception team are currently contacting customers regarding todays scheduled swimming lessons.

We apologise for the disruption and will provide updates as soon as we have more information.

⚠️IMPORTANT NOTICE⚠️

Due to red weather warning tomorrow (24th Jan) the centre (and all other Midlothian Council buildings) will be closed and aim to reopen on Saturday as usual.

Any classes, extended lets or booking for Friday will be contacted by the centre.

No staff will be onsite to answer telephone calls or emails.

Great news – the Alpine Coaster at Midlothian Snowsports Centre, Hillend will be open throughout the October school break!

We’ve just launched bookings for Monday 14 October right through to Monday 21 October inclusive.

And you can also book weekends to Saturday 30 November.

Perfect for families, the Alpine Coaster is the first in Scotland and reaches up to 28mph.

You can now book online or at any leisure centre for our new Postnatal Pilates classes with your wee one.
You must be cleared by a GP or medical professional before attending.
Sessions run for a block of 7 weeks (no session 9 - 13 September).
The blocks cost £31.50 and sessions are not included in memberships.
