A fantastic game of football yesterday for our U14s ⚽️

The boys were spectacular!

It could have been a rusty performance due to not playing much football lately but the boys certainly didn’t show any rustiness 👌
From start to finish a complete dominate performance!
The second half was tough due to Newcastle Emlyn trying to rough us up but a show of character, togetherness and team spirit got us over the line.

It was a game made for Ryan. He would have absolutely loved stomping up and down the touchline but no doubt he was watching over the boys and they paid tribute to him before and after the game 🧡🖤🧡

PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT

We are delighted to announce a new partnership between Pengam Boys & Girls Club, The Seniors and Our Minds Together.

This collaboration brings together two organisations that share the same values of community, compassion, and empowerment. Together, we are committed to supporting the wellbeing of our players, families, volunteers, and the wider community.

Football is about more than what happens on the pitch. By working alongside Our Minds Together, we aim to raise awareness, provide support, and help create a positive environment where everyone feels valued and heard.

We are excited about what the future holds and look forward to making a real difference together.

Brilliant afternoon for U6s presentation on sunday.
Lovely to see all their hard work paying off. They've had a fanatic first season and all deserved the praise they had yesterday.
Immensely proud of everyone and looking forward to our next season as U7s.

Huge thank you to all our parents who show up weekly rain or shine and for all the encouragement from the sidelines. Roll on next season

What a day for our butty Bonesy yesterday!

Over 250 family, friends, team mates and fellow coaches came down to our home field to pay their respects, lay flowers and raise a glass to remember a true legend of our club!

A huge thank you to everyone who took time out of their days, on such a beautiful day also to attend! He would have absolutely loved seeing so many of his loved ones together in one place sharing memories.

Our flag will remain in place for the next few days if you would like to come and leave a message on there or lay flowers.

A larger-than-life character with a smile that could light up any room, Bonesy gave so much to our club and touched the lives of so many players, coaches, parents, and friends along the way.

Pengam Boys & Girls Club have lost a legend! A true gent! We are all completely and utterly heartbroken 💔

There are no words, Ry😢

Ryan and Lee were Pengam’s very own Ant & Dec; always on the phone talking football, always making people laugh and always turning presentations into a comedy sketch!
Together, Ryan, Lee and their team have shared incredible highs and some heartbreaking lows over the years! It is impossible to believe you're no longer with us.

The clubs players, coaches, volunteers and families are devastated!

Ryan, you had the most infectious laugh and a heart bigger than most! You had a wonderful potty mouth, especially from the side of the pitch, and you often gave the opposition or the referee plenty to think about ⚽️
You had a special way of bringing people together and making everyone feel part of the team. One your most admired qualities!

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with your Mam, Dad, Beth and your three beautiful boys who were your absolute world!

We hope your loved ones can find some comfort in knowing just how loved, respected and appreciated you were! You made such an impact on so many lives and those who had the pleasure of knowing you, were so very fond of you!

Thank you for the memories, the laughter and your dedication! Thank you for the care you showed every child who came through our club. Your impact on Pengam Boys & Girls will never be forgotten.
