I've been coaching water sports since 1988, it started in the Army and continued in the outdoor industry on the West Coast of Scotland instructing, Mountaineering, Windsurfing and Kayaking.....
In 2008 I discovered Stand Up Paddling, and SUP Scotland was born!! I spent the next 3 years exploring my local area, including a circumnavigating of the Isle of Kerrera on my Kona Long (Windsurfing) Board,
before finally buying (with a little help from Tushingham sails in 2011) my first SUP Board. With a trip to France imminent in 2012, I new I needed a fastest more efficient board. So along came F-One a Bamboo epoxy sandwich board with carbon rails! 2013 brought me back to South Wales. So in 2013 SUP Wales was born. 3 yrs later and lots of paddling, i now along the waterways and coastal routes i've discovered along the way. Suitable for beginners and more advanced! Looking forward to xmas as we're off to Scotland to paddle around my old stomping ground. Qualified ASI Academy of Surf Instructors Level 2 SUP Instructor.
