Old Penarthians RFC has been awarded the highest level of accreditation under the Welsh Rugby Union’s Club Investment Model.

This recognition reflects far more than what happens on the pitch. It celebrates the standards, culture and community we have built across the whole club.

It belongs to every volunteer, coach, player, parent, supporter and member who gives their time, energy and heart to the Old Pens.

We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved together, and excited about what comes next.

The wait is over, preseason is in full swing and it’s almost time to go again!
We’re excited to reveal our fixtures for the 2026/27 WRU Championship season.

This season, we’d like to extend a warm welcome to our new Championship sides

💚 Supporting an Incredible Cause 💚

At Churchfields Home Care, we are proud to support Tony, who is taking on a 10K walk on 19th July to raise money for Velindre Cancer Charity.

Velindre has provided incredible care and support to Tony and his family over the years, and this walk is his way of giving something back to a charity that means so much to them. 💚

We know how important charities like Velindre are to so many families in our community, and every donation, no matter how small, can make a real difference to the lives of people affected by cancer.

🏉 Old Penarthians Membership Now Open!

Membership for the new season is now live and starts from 1 July.

You can now join or renew through our new online membership portal, where you can choose your membership type, add extras such as gym, squash, mini & junior fees, and update your contact details.

✅ Club membership from £15
✅ RFC player membership £45
✅ Mini & junior playing fees from £50
✅ Gym, squash and key fob options available
✅ Discounted bar prices with your membership card

A reminder that all mini and junior players under 18 must have a parent or guardian with club membership.

🏋️ Gym members must renew by 31 July to keep access. The gym is for paid gym members only, and guests are not permitted.

Life members should also re-register through the portal to update details and add any extras needed.

Thank you for sorting your membership as soon as possible. It makes a real difference to Old Penarthians and helps our volunteers keep everything running smoothly.
