🎉⚽💙 It’s our birthday! 🎉⚽💙
10 years ago Penarth Women FC started with just a few friends kicking a ball around in the park. Since then the team has grown and evolved into something we’re incredibly proud of.
We’re proud of what we’re achieving on the pitch and it’s great to be winning more games in the casual league, but that’s always been secondary to what this team is really about, the spirit of the group, the inclusive environment and the strong friendships that have formed over the years.
We wouldn’t be here without the people who helped build the team and keep it going. Our huge thanks to Kae, Nic and everyone who has been part of our journey over the last 10 years.
It also feels very fitting with approaching on Sunday as we celebrate the amazing women who make this team what it is.
Here’s to the next 10 years of Penarth Women 💙
We’ll be planning something in the summer to celebrate properly, whether that’s a tournament, a party… or a bit of both! 🎉⚽
