📢 Important Customer Notice: Tuesday, July 7th 📢

We are excited to be hosting a Schools Swimming Gala on Tuesday, July 7th, between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM! 🏆

Because of the event, please keep the following updates in mind if you plan to visit us during these hours:

🏊 Closures: Both the swimming pool and the health suite will be closed to the general public during this time.

🚗 Parking: The car park is expected to be busier than usual, so please allow extra time for your arrival.

Everything will return to normal after 3:00 PM.

It’s Drowning Prevention Week, and we need to talk about the hidden danger of open water. Even when the sun is blazing, lakes, rivers, and the sea stay dangerously cold.

Plunging into water under 15°C causes an instant, uncontrollable physical reaction—your heart races, and your body forces a gasp for air. It doesn’t care how strong a swimmer you are.

If you find yourself struggling in the water:
🧠 Remember: FLOAT TO LIVE
✔️ Fight the urge to panic or swim hard.
✔️ Lie back like a starfish and tilt your head back.
✔️ Keep your hands and feet moving gently to stay afloat.
✔️ Focus entirely on your breathing until the initial shock passes.

Stay smart and stay safe this summer.
