Your online course isn't taking so long because you're too busy. 👀

It's taking so long because you've made it too big.

Ouch. I know.

But I see this all the time.

A course that could have been created in a weekend turns into a six month project.

More lessons.

More worksheets.

More bonuses.

More tweaking.

More overthinking.

And before you know it, you're exhausted... and the course still isn't finished. 😫

Truth time. 👀

If you want to make consistent sales for your online course or membership, you’re going to have to do more than stick it on your website and hope people buy.

I hear from pet pros every week that tell me they’re struggling to sell their passive income offer.

I do get it. I struggled to get people to sign up to my courses too before I found the strategies that work.

These days, all of my revenue comes from passive and semi-passive income sources. I make a very decent living too, that allows me to live a super comfortable, stress-free lifestyle. 💰

But that’s because I have a few very successful strategies that I use in my business to consistently sell my digital products.

Things like:

👉 Running evergreen funnels that work on autopilot everyday to convert leads.

👉 My content strategy for social media and emails encourages enquiries each week, then I make sales through DMs or emails.

👉 I actively DM the warmest leads in my audience every week. I strike up a friendly conversation and let them know how I can help. This leads to sales.

👉 I run ads to a free resource and have a tripwire offer and upsell that makes me sales each week.

👉 I run ads directly to a course I sell which makes multiple sales every day, anywhere from £27 to £300 per customer purchase.

This might sound like a lot, but I’ve been doing this a while. You don’t have to have all of these in place to make sales. You could start with one sales strategy that feels easy for you and build from there.

Most people think the goal is to make a sale.

Somebody buys your course.

Happy days.

Onto the next customer.

But that's where so many pet professionals are leaving money on the table.

Because the first sale isn't the finish line.

It's the starting line.

When somebody buys from you, they're already telling you:

And often the next logical solution is sitting right there.

The tech and tools you need to create passive income in your business… 💰

Here’s what I use:

👉 Thrivecart - My payment system that allows me to process payments super easily. Lets me create beautiful checkout pages, order bumps, upsells and downsells to increase the order value of every customer.

👉 Membervault - The training portal where all my online courses, group programmes, and memberships live. This is where my customers login and access the resource they’ve purchased.

👉 Zapier - Connects Thrivecart to Membervault. When someone purchases, they’re automatically added to the correct course or membership. If someone cancels their membership, they’re automatically removed from the membership.

👉 Mailerlite - My email marketing system that automatically sends welcome emails with the login information they need after they’ve purchased.

My setup is slightly more advanced because I’ve been doing this for a long time and almost 100% of my income comes from passive sources.

BUT you can keep things really simple and super affordable by just using Membervault and Mailerlite. It really doesn’t have to be expensive or complicated to get started.

I’ve helped hundreds of pet pros get set up and make money online within weeks.

I was speaking with a lovely dog trainer the other day who is at capacity. 🐾

She’s totally booked up and is having to turn people away.

Not only that, she’s exhausted with the day to day running of her business and still isn’t making the money she wants.

She’s keen to grow her income while creating more freedom in her life, but she doesn’t know what to do. 🤷‍♀️

So what can you do in this situation?

✨ Firstly, increase your prices for your current services so you can earn more with fewer clients. A simple step, which on its own will make a massive difference.

✨ Secondly, you could hire another trainer to take on some workload. This is not my favourite option as that can add other potential complications not everyone wants.

✨ Thirdly, diversify your offerings and create passive income streams so you can make more while working less. My fave!

If you’re having to apologise to potential clients while you tell them you’re fully booked, you're leaving a whole heap of money on the table.

By increasing your prices you’ll make more money while being able to choose the clients you take on. 👏

And by creating passive income offers, you’ll be able to impact and serve many, many more pet parents while making more money than you can imagine, without adding to your workload.

How many hours do you work in your business a week? 🤔

When you think about that number, does it make you happy?

If not, what are you going to do to change it!?

When I was working 50+ hours a week in my business, my life was a mess. My mental, physical and emotional health were all under strain. 😫

My relationships with my partner, family and friends were depressingly distant.

I made very little money for the effort I put in. It really was sad times.

That was until I made some drastic changes in my business that opened up my time, my income and my impact. 👈

I found a way forward in my business that’s in total alignment with my personality, energy levels and health limitations.

These days I work less that 20 hours a week in my business, and that suits me a whole lot better. 🙌
