Pembroke and Pembroke Dock ABC Well established, friendly and highly successful Amateur Boxing Club located in the heart of Pembrok Bryn Phillips.

Pembroke Boxing Club was formed in 1964 by Police Officer Mr. Affiliated to WABA It has become a well established and much loved part of the community producing many champions and taking part in local community events. We have supported hundreds of children and young people who may otherwise be getting in to trouble, committing crime or vandalism. Until recently the dedicated team of volunteers an

d enthusiasts have been training in a dilapidated premises in Pembroke, with no access to basic facilities and extremely limited on space. Over the last couple of years we secured £90,000 in funding from the Army Community Covenant and Sports Wales, as well as raising £15,000 from fundraising activities. With these funds we have managed to secure a new premises on Water Street in Pembroke Dock. It was very dilapidated when we moved in so with the help of Tesco, Valero, and some members of the Town Council, including the Mayor, we have managed to get it looking much tidier, front and back. We have secured funding from the PCC Paint scheme for the frontage and we have all worked like crazy to get the inside looking great. The award winning Pembrokeshire Power Lifters have moved into one of the Studios and we will renovate the rear studio for the extension of Great Britain Disability Boxing . Every Thursday we run a free inclusion session starting from ages of 6 to 60 . We adapt to all abilities we have disability toilets . Every Wednesday on Great Britain Disability Boxing we run a free boxing wheelchair or seated session with lead coach Luiz Faye for Junior and senior.

We work with our partner Golden Gloves VR The best virtual reality boxing experience on the Meta Quest .

Its the boxing gym that's accessible to all abilities and is always open .

We was unable to claim on our insurance.
With all the bad weather we are having it's starting to impact the main part of the gym.
We have and are still applying for grants.
We have a successful past with Amateur boxers .
We are slowly building up to a new start of Amateur boxers .
We have a strong community impact with our inclusion and police programmes.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
