Journey to the Sea 🌊

Always fascinating to see how the coastline changes every winter near home. The water rushing through the outflow from the flooded lily ponds combines with the big waves and sea surges, carve out a channel through the beach at Broad South. Every year it's a different shape, sometime creating a huge sandy cliff on the leading edge. Here's one of my favourite images in recent years, of my favourite place and had to be the cover for my latest book, Pembrokeshire : Discovering the Coast Path.
