Thank you to all for making yesterday’s Peacehaven & Telscombe 1st Women’s Walking Football Tournament a huge success. A great turn out with 12 teams competing for the shield. The lovely feedback from many teams, players and refs made it all worthwhile. After 5 rounds played in beautiful sunshine we had the final with Battle Axes battling a win against Socialball Tigers. Huge congratulations to both finalists⚽️⚽️🏆🏆🏆. Look forward to hopefully welcoming you all back next year⚽️⚽️

It’s never too late to lace up your football boots! Peacehaven & Telscombe Women’s Walking Football present a chance to discover one of the fastest growing sports in the UK.

12 teams will showcase walking football at the club’s first tournament as hosts. Teams from across the South East will be taking part.

First games kick off at 12 noon, the kitchen and bar will be open all day at the Sports Park, Piddinghoe Avenue, Peacehaven.

Cheer the teams on and find out how to get involved you’ll be made very welcome! ⚽️⚽️
