What better way to follow up a First XI promotion than with our Presentation Night 2026! 🏆🏏

A fantastic evening celebrating another brilliant season at Patchway Cricket Club, recognising our players, performances and everyone who has contributed throughout the year.

We also held our raffle on the night, raising a whopping £350 for the club! A huge thank you to everyone who bought tickets and donated prizes.

We would especially like to thank Little Loves Bakes, Bristol Rovers Community Trust, Glamorgan Cricket Club, Treetop Adventure Golf Bristol and Carly’s Beauty Room, along with everyone else who generously donated prizes to our raffle.

A huge thank you as well to Hangar 61 for providing the venue and putting on a lovely spread of buffet food for everyone to enjoy.

Congratulations to all of our award winners and thank you to everyone who has supported the club throughout the season.

One big thank you to all the volunteers, players and supporters who made this season possible. The time, effort and support behind the scenes never goes unnoticed.

A rainy start to our Saturday made it look like this game wouldn’t happen, but once play got underway the game was reduced to 24 overs per side.

Patchway bowled first, with Mukesh and Tyler striking early to remove both openers inside the first two overs. Mukesh finished with 3/25, helping restrict Frampton Cotterell to 146/8.

In reply, Chris made 39, before Ajay remained unbeaten on 46* to secure the win.

Six wins on the bounce, 2nd in the league and promoted to the next division!

Although the Second XI game was called off due to the rain, our First XI fixture went ahead… and look what’s happened! 🏆

THE FIRST XI ARE PROMOTED!

As the skipper said after the game, this is what happens when you work hard for the whole year. From the players who scored the runs and took the wickets, to those who stepped in when needed, and the Second XI who supported the side throughout the season — this achievement belongs to everyone.

After the disappointment of losing to Stoke Gifford, the team bounced back with six wins, some tough away fixtures, and one final push when it mattered most.

A massive effort from everyone involved. Remember this feeling — there’s no reason we can’t do it again next year.

The 1st XI face a massive away game as they look to finish the season on a high, while the 2nd XI round off their season with a home fixture.

And don’t forget, Presentation Night is also this Saturday evening at Hangar 61, kicking off around 7pm.

A Saturday of contrasting fortunes for Patchway, with the First XI making it five wins on the bounce, while the Second XI continue to search for a return to winning ways.

With just one game left of the season, there’s still time to finish strongly.

🏆 Second XI POTM: Gavin — despite not playing, he scored the full game, baked a beautiful cake and once again went above and beyond for the team. That’s Gav!
