Match report vs Reclionsaurs
Firstly, before I start reporting on today’s game, myself and the whole team would like to wish a speedy recovery to Josh Easterbrook from his head injury! Talk about using your head mate!
We started the game poorly which was down to lack of focus and I’d say a little complacency from us.
Once we got our heads down and started playing our natural game the lads dominated the game and created multiple chances.
The opposition keeper made some brilliant saves from a cheeky effort from chivs and a well struck volley from Evans before we deservedly went ahead 1-0 to 2-0. Both goals were superb, Evans being fed down the right hand side to beat his man and deliver the ball into Chivers path to slot it away twice.
Not much to report from our opponents in the first half!
In the 2nd half we started brightly but didn’t score the third goal, and unfortunately Reclinosaurs scored to make it 2-1. However there was a possible foul against Nik in the build up.
This situation knocked our confidence for around 10 mins. When the opposition forced a Big moment in the game when they forced Bojski to make a 1-1 save to keeps us in the lead! Fantastic by the make shift GK.
The lads rallied after this and seen that more was needed to ensure the Three points. 3-1, 4-1 and the nail in the coffin to finish the game 5-1 up.
MOM nominations came in thick and fast back at the pub but it was deservedly given to Evans.
